

A Surprise and a little help
I had hoped to go over and add a super to my two vertical hives sometime this weekend, but I wanted some help with the lifting, and no one at home currently was totally thrilled about helping, but would have come if I asked. July Field Day
Isn't that a beautiful sight? Oh how I have waited to see that! It was a drippy day when we started on July 14, 2018, but the drips quickly stopped, and although it was cloudy it was not ominous and the bees were not upset. I Had an Excuse, sort of...
It has been two whole weeks since I have even looked at my hives. I couldn't find my smoker, seriously, I couldn't. I needed it to display at my presentation for the historical society tonight. I couldn't find it anywhere at home, I surely must have left it by the hives, right?
