Abbott Farms - Sustainable Agriculture

Welcome to the home page of our Abbott Farms CSA! We started our CSA in 2016 as a way to help our surplus garden vegetables find appreciative homes. The CSA has grown each year, and now we have about ten shareholders each summer.

Our 2024 CSA will run approximately 16 weeks, beginning in July and lasting through October. A share will cost $20 per week, or $320 for an 16-week season. Our CSA baskets will easily feed 2-3 people. Each weekly basket will contain 8-14 different types of seasonal vegetables, including but not limited to kale, Swiss chard, lettuce, radishes, summer squash, turnips, green beans, cucumbers, many varieties of heirloom tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, beets, carrots, melons, celery, cabbage, celery, pumpkins, winter squash, and potatoes.

 

Shareholders will also get five or six kinds of freshly picked herbs and a bouquet of freshly picked flowers each week, along with a copy of the Abbott Farms CSA cookbook at the beginning of the season.
