These are experimental oilseed sunflowers. We hope to grow more and press our own oil with our oil press.

This is our experimental long Langstroth horizontal hive in the Sustainable Apiary. It has natural comb but uses standard Langstroth deep frames in a horizontal box the length of three Langstroth deeps set sideways.

Brown eggs do color beautifully!

This is a hard cheese being removed from the cheese press.

This is natural comb - meaning it has no foundation under it. The bees choose what kind of cells to make and how to arrange it. In this comb they have put drone cells in the middle and worker brood on the outside.
